Hi,

These are sketches about snipers and gunslingers.

They use guns but they are from a medieval fantasy scenery. I thing it's very interesting when medieval tecnology try to emulate modern equipment. I love Steampunk.

Leprechaun model.

This is the first 3d render of Leprechaun, the star of Soon Project. It's yet a W.I.P., I'll work and experiment more on the texture and I'll use a filter to bring a interesting visual effect to the short.

Kraken studies

In this "PCless" weekend I "daydreamed" about my secondary project, The Kraken, and I made same sketches and color studies.
I also thought some more about the screenplay and now it has a new character the baby Krakorilla and there is a moment when the gorilla opens his eyes.

RPG illustration

This is an illustration I made for Dragão Brasil, a brazilian RPG Magazine.
I used Adobe Photoshop for painting and 3DSMax to generate the door.

"Something is going to happen soon..."

While I work on Leprechaun's 3d model I decided the soundtrack of the short. It's "Soon" by Squirrel Nut Zippers, my favorite band... Have I ever talk about that?

Well, I'll use just a small part of the music:

"I was walking down the street
A stranger said to me
Be careful what you do
Then when waiting for a train
I heard a strange refrain

The screenplay will be based on the lyric.

Earth Elemental

I was working on this model at Mudbox before start Leprechaun, but I think I started without enough references and I stopped to return later.
One day I'll finish it.

The Kraken

Well, I was trying to write the screenplay for the Leprechaun when this images came to my mind.

That would be the Leprechaun's house, and this two "pets" would be a non-sense touch, but I thought again and decided to keep the thing simple. This scene will be another project.

The soundtrack for this project is already decided: "The Kraken", by Squirrel Nut Zippers, my favorite band.

Hmmm... maybe too dramatic for the cartoon stile, but you have to listen the full music. Hehehe!

Leprechaun

Hi, this is concept of my next animation, Leprechaun.

I don't have a story to tell, but I think that the character is strong enough to bring one to my mind easily.
